SPRING 2026 KICK-OFF: BAR EXAM PREPARATION PROGRAM
In the journey of legal practice, the Bar Examination is not merely a procedural formality. It serves as the fundamental screening mechanism to ensure that those entering the profession have attained a definitive standard of knowledge, skills, and professional ethics. The core issue does not lie in 'passing or failing,' but rather in whether the candidates have been equipped with the correct methodology. Drawing upon years of litigation practice and internal training, DLPL has observed that the majority of candidates do not lack knowledge. What they lack is the analytical structure and presentation methodology that align with the evaluation logic of the Examination Board. Accordingly, DLPL Academy is launching the Spring 2026 Intensive Exam Preparation Program.
I. Program Foundation
The program is designed based on three practical foundations:
- Analysis of the structure of the Bar Examination from recent years
- Synthesis of common errors in written exams and oral interviews
- Practical experience in legal practice and training of legal trainees
DLPL does not aim to impart all legal knowledge in a scattered manner. What we aim for is:
- Systematizing core contents
- Standardizing the presentation methodology
- Honing argumentation and critical thinking skills
Learners do not merely "review," but are guided on how to approach issues in sequence: identifying legal relationships – analyzing norms – applying – concluding.
II. Program Structure
1. Systematization of Core Knowledge
The program focuses on:
- Rules of professional ethics and conduct
- Legal practice skills in consulting and litigation practice
- Skills in identifying legal issues within scenarios
The objective is to help trainees understand the essence of the issue rather than simply memorizing the law.
2. Practice Tests and Personalized Correction
This is the core component of the program. Each submission will be:
- Analyzed for structure
- Checked for logical argumentation errors
- Adjusted in terms of presentation methodology according to the grading criteria
The focus is not on "writing at length," but on "writing correctly and sufficiently." A good exam paper features a clear structure, coherent argumentation, and well-founded conclusions.
3. Mock Oral Interviews
Learners will practice:
- Presenting legal viewpoints within a time limit
- Responding to situational rebuttals
- Adjusting demeanor and expression
The simulation aims to minimize psychological risks when entering the actual exam, while simultaneously forging resilience in the face of cross-examination.
III. Core Values of the Program
The program is not built to impart short-term "exam tricks." What DLPL aims for is the formation of a sustainable analytical structure for legal practice.
The difference between a candidate who passes the exam and a lawyer who can stand firm in Court does not lie in how many regulations they have memorized, but in their ability to organize arguments, control reasoning, and defend their viewpoint in a rigorous and systematic manner.
DLPL steadfastly adheres to one principle:
A lawyer who wishes to defend their client in Court must first know how to defend their own legal viewpoint with clear, coherent, and well-founded arguments.
The Bar Examination is a minimum standard. If one cannot meet that standard, it is very difficult to meet the higher demands of litigation practice – where every argument is subject to rebuttal and every error can lead to real-world consequences.
The core value of the program does not lie in helping learners "pass the exam," but in helping them enter the profession with the right mindset and a foundation solid enough for long-term development.
IV. Faculty and Content Directors
The program is directly taught and accompanied by:
- Lawyer, LL.M. Tran Long Dai
- Lawyer, LL.M. Huynh Thi Thuy Diem
Responsible for program content:
Lawyer, LL.M. Nguyen Ba Tung
These are lawyers with practical experience who have participated in litigation practice, consulting, and internal training. Each session is not just about imparting knowledge, but also about sharing how to think, handle situations, and stand firm when entering the profession.
V. Schedule and Class Size
Schedule:
From March 15, 2026 to April 03, 2026
The program is organized in a limited-size class model to ensure the quality of interaction and personalized correction.
Maximum number of students: 34.
Once the quota is met, DLPL will stop accepting applications to ensure training quality.
VI. Spring 2026 Policies
On the occasion of the new year, DLPL offers:
